SeaVoice, the Cultural Heritage Framework Programme’s platform for ocean storytelling, partnered with DigiBlue to deliver a webinar on marine cultural heritage and storytelling for ocean literacy.
The session, titled Storytelling for a Bluer Future and hosted by BonoLab, took place online on 27 November 2025, featuring insights from Dr. Georgia Holly and Prof. Jon Henderson, University of Edinburgh.
The webinar offered practical guidance on planning and creating stories that communicate the importance of marine cultural heritage while enhancing ocean literacy. An interactive segment allowed participants to exchange ideas and connect with fellow storytellers, fostering collaboration across communities interested in heritage, storytelling, and public engagement with the ocean.
This collaboration reflects the Ocean Decade Heritage Network and CHFP’s commitment to supporting accessible, innovative, and culturally grounded approaches that connect communities to marine heritage while inspiring the next generation of storytellers to share impactful narratives about the ocean.
