The next International Congress of Maritime Museums (ICMM) Congress will take place in Sydney, Australia from 13 to 18 September 2026 at the Australian National Maritime Museum. It will be the first Biennial Congress to be held in Australia.

The theme of the conference is Maritime Museums in Action – Moving Forward with Courage and Conviction. Members of the Australian Maritime Museums Council will be in attendance to meet with international delegates and participate in the full program of lectures, workshops, and associated activities.
