IJNA Webinar 10 – ENDURE: Mapping the Future of Underwater Heritage
ENDURE: Mapping the Future of Underwater Heritage – New Insights from Shipwreck Science in the North and Baltic Seas
The Nautical Archaeology Society invites you to the tenth instalment of the International Journal of Nautical Archaeology Webinar Series. Professor David Gregory (National Museum of Denmark) will present research from the ENDURE project (ERC, 2022–2027), which is advancing science-based approaches to evaluating the long-term preservation potential of historic shipwrecks. Drawing on data from over 500 sites in the North and Baltic Seas, the talk will explore how remote sensing, open-access datasets, and predictive modelling can support sustainable underwater cultural heritage management.
This event forms part of the IJNA Webinar Series, supported by the Honor Frost Foundation. The series offers public access to current research from leading authors in nautical archaeology. Webinars are free, interactive, and recorded for later viewing on the NAS YouTube Channel.
